Shortening (Old food oil)

The collection raw material desired by old food oil and the dressing for the production of bio Diesel today, in the consciousness of no longer unlimited resources, is an important industry and the "waste product" became a valuable raw material.

ÖLWERT is the collecting tank and editor of the valuable raw material old food oil in Austria and the adjacent countries. This is made possible by numerous partners.

The different kinds of collecting methods are individually adapted:

• modern suction vehicles, special locally tank solutions
• Collection with barrels (Gastro...)
• Small collection (NÖLI)

We collect in large and in small old food oils and fat, which are afterwards prepared at the location ÖLWERT recycling in Langenlois according to the latest state of the technology to different qualities. Our particularly developed dressing plants ensure production according to the quality requirements of the bio Diesel manufacturers.

Most modern washing plants clean the containers before re-use.

Resulting waste water is cleaned by far over standard corresponding dressing plants (flotation procedures).

The ecological balance from disposal, dressing and processing of old food fat in bio Diesels is far superior to all other possible utilization ways. Bio Diesel from old food oils and fat is clearly more pollution free than those from Palm or Soy Oil.

NÖLI - the old food fat and collecting

The NÖLI makes possible to deliver the citizen of Lower Austria the collected old food oils and fat at the recycling yard of its municipality and a new cleaned NÖLI carries forward. The collected NÖLI excavator buckets are spent from the individual valuable material yards to Langenlois and prepared there in a special plant and cleaned the containers.
